Signed up to DAZN thinking it was a monthly subscription, just for the World Cup soccer. Upon going to cancel it it turns out it’s a yearly subscription.

Not stoked about paying another 26k yen odd for the privilege of watching J league til next year. Support have been useless.

On the latest episode of Kill Tony, a guy saying he’s lived here for twenty or so years talked about how he bought cocaine on the dark web and had it shipped to him in Japan, and then did that cocaine.

It got me thinking. Especially as a foreign resident, how insane of an idea is it to talk about doing illegal things here while on camera? Has that kind of thing ever led to investigation or visa non-renewal?

Just curious because I’ve seen an increased amount of TMI on YouTube, reels etc over recent years… anyone have any anecdotes or expertise on the subject?

Disclaimer that I live in Japan, don’t particularly care for that podcast, and I am definitely not that guy.
