Does Barnes & Noble accommodate people who can’t stand for prolonged periods?
I’m interested in applying to Barnes & Noble, but I have bulging discs in my lower back that cause pretty significant pain with prolonged standing. I do have medical documentation/a doctor’s note for it.
I can still work and move around, but standing in one spot for long periods is what really causes issues. I was wondering if B&N is generally accommodating with things like stools at register, extra sitting breaks, modified tasks, etc.
If anyone here works/worked there and has experience with accommodations or chronic pain/disability at B&N, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks!
