Sculpting Cetus: A sea serpent carved from 300-year-old Cyprus olive wood

Crafted this 28kg piece right here near Lefkara during the peak summer heat (working only a few early morning hours a day!). The raw trunk had incredible natural curves and woodworm channels that instantly brought to mind Cetus, the legendary sea monster from ancient Greek mythology.

Excited to share the progress on this raw block as it transforms!

Lost soul

Really need some help here guys. I made this Sculpture from 300 year old olive wood here in Cyprus. I did called it the Whisperer ? but did not sit right for some reason, so would a name be better he/she ? Just a little insight the colour is more natural as I use my own blend of bee's wax /oils as we are surrounded by bee hives so the wax comes in very useful for this type of work, the sculpture is just 2 foot in height and took 4 weeks from start to finish.
