Hi All,

I am trying to get a mortgage and previously i am a full time worker but change it to contractor last year on November. I have contacted a broker but he mentioned without a full year as contractor the bank may not be able to grant me full amount of my salary. But without the full amouny of salary i will not be able to get the amount that i need for my target property.

Is it possible to have full amount before a year of contract or just wait until i pass 1 year as contract and I got contract renewal?

If it possible, Is there any specialize broker that can help me better as contractor?

Edit: More context previously working as permanent employee then switch as contract worker but still under umbrella company and PAYE system.

So my partner and I plan to buy apartment below 500k in dublin to avail to HTB and FHS. We know this is not final plan because we might want to sell the apartment and move to a bigger house or apartment once we have kids. I have several questions:

1. What happened to HTB and FSH of the apartment, if i sold the apartment after 5 years?
2. What is the ideal steps if I want to buy a new house? Sell my properties first, rent a properties to move, then buy new properties? Or can I get new mortgage for the new properties while the process of selling my properties is still ongoing? What usually bank/lender do in this situation?
3. Is there any other thing I need to be aware of my plan?

One of the area that we are both considering seriously is Ballycullen Gate, near Dooderbrook. Me and my wife most important concern is safety, what's your opinion around that place? I heard same issue near Daletree especially, but whats your guys opinion?

Hi all, i am currently searching for our future home. We have been searching multiple places in Dublin and we like Dublin South especially that it near the hill with amazing view. One of the area that we are both considering seriously is White Pine Central, new one beside beside White Pine Lane and just beside stocking avenue. The only concern is that that place may have road built and connected to a road directly opposite of halting site, Stocking Hill. I, myself don't have any experience with traveller before, so I am not sure if this gonna be a good decision or not. Would you guys give advice based on your experience on this topic?
