Most of the time, they are not even jerking and they are so confidently incorrect, it's hilarious. Also when a reader points it out, they start insulting them.

If you think about it, Logan or Black Widow are better friends for Frank than Microchip (who has betrayed Frank on three different occasions)
Year One is an essential Punisher story which should be read before starting any of the runs.
For characters like Daredevil, people will always recommend origin stories like Man Without Fear or Daredevil Yellow before telling them to read runs like Miller, Bendis, Brubaker etc. It should be the same for Punisher recommendations.

• The Current line up (Luke Cage, Spider-man, Wolverine, Carol & Daredevil), is the same lineup as 2004 Bendis Avengers, the core lineup which remained throughout most of the run. (Bendis originally planned for Ronin to be Matt but changed it to Echo later in his run)
• Armageddon is basically just a mashup of Bendis's Disassembled and Secret War . Geopolitical takeover involving Latveria combined with Tony Stark disbanding the Avengers. Same as Disassembled and Secret War.
• In the preview for his Avengers, Peter mentions an Anti Powers push and Mayor Luke Cage running against an Anti-Superhero candidate. Same as Civil War Era, the general public have turned on the superheroes
• He will also have a new member joining his Avengers 2026 team, David Colton from his Captain America run. He's the ultimate powerhouse character who took on Red Hulk in Armageddon. He will be The Sentry of this era like Bob was for Bendis era. All powerful new hero who everyone is scared of.

His second Avengers arc will involve The Punisher for some reason. He has a lot of material to rip off from since Punisher Vs Avengers has been done to death by the last four Punisher writers (Greg Rucka, Edmondson, Rosenberg, Aaron)
He also ripped off Miller & Brubaker for his Daredevil run. In the same run, he also heavily mischaracterized both Iron man & Punisher, same run he also turned Matt Murdock into a caricature.
He's such a creatively bankrupt writer.

I loved this movie. Better than NWH imo. I'm glad Peter and Frank were friendly with each other like they were during the 70s. It got their dynamic well.
I've seen people say "Peter should absolutely hate Frank" and I'm glad people like those aren't in charge of these movies lmaoo. I'm glad they didn't go that cringe route.

For those of you who don't know, Zdarsky heavily mischaracterized Punisher in both his Daredevil runs. Frank acts extremely out of character, he acts more like Jon Bernthal instead of the stoic calm and collected Frank in both his runs.
Frank showed up in his Daredevil runs just to be beaten by Daredevil. Zdarsky's way of hyping up his protag by making another character look like a joke.
As in most other superhero comics, I'm worried Frank will show up in this Avengers runs just to get beaten by Daredevil & Luke Cage so they can aura farm. Frank will be turned into the butt of the joke while acting like a hyper expressive maniac instead of being cold and calculating.
This is supposed to be the next big mainstream Avengers title and its second fucking arc will be Punisher.
