Drops have been a bit of a bait and switch
I logically understand why drop content has been rolling out the way it has, and hate to pile on any negativity. This is NOT a criticism of any specific shows or eras that they have released.
But I can’t help but feel a bit misled about how they have rolled out the drops.
They started with a huge drop of a diverse mix of eras. I saw this, and immediately subscribed for a year.
Since that initial launch batch, as we all know, they have been predominantly confined to a small period of the band’s career.
Can’t help but feel a bit misled with how this was rolled out. They should have been more up front about what would be included in these drops which is the main draw of the subscription for anyone who has been following along with live releases over the years.
I also find it a bit funny they keep sending notifications about Hi Res drops from the Downloads series, when the app is still not easily integrated with Hi Res streaming methods without hardwiring your phone to your DAC.
