Trying to improve my promo skills.
My latest novel dropped just over a week ago now, and this time around, I've tried to revise my self-promo approach. I gave myself almost three months to build some momentum, dropping frequent short promo reels and teasers, as well as offering ARCs prior to the release. Also, I've been featured on several genre websites, and in my local press. Interest has been slow, but hopefully looks like it might gain more momentum. In the past I've had a problem in that, reviews for my writing have been consistently good, but the stumbling block is in actually getting people to notice it. I'm hoping that I've finally managed to do so at least a bit more effectively.
