Hi I’m a broke 19 yr old who lost her job suddenly. My bf (20) is a CO. He makes good money and I told him I wanted to go over there to work. He refuses, he dosent want me steppping close to a prison no matter what.

For some context I come from a family of corrections officers so I know what I’m going into to. He’s worried because I’m a very happy person and that that place will mess me up. He’s also worried because I’m a woman and it’s a men’s prison. Please what do I do. I need a job and the FDC pays good for starting out.
