I’ve been stuck on this issue for two weeks. Cameras wont appear on NVR.
This is my setup:
RCL-1240A cameras connect straight to TP-Link TL-SG1218MP switch that powers the cameras and powers a Ubiquiti LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 through the ubiquiti injector it came with.
I then have the litebeam acting as a wireless bridge between the office and my house. Signal is received by Rocket Prism whos being powered with the ubiquiti injector it came with (connected to a wall outlet). Then it’s LAN runs through a router thats also connected to a modem with internet. Then the NVR is connected to the router.
Before a severe lightning storm, these cameras were working just fine, but since then, I thought my switch was broken so i replaced them, i replaced the cables, i replaced the injector from the office too.
Now, no matter what I do, replacing everything, I still do not find the cameras in the NVR. I can see that my bridge is working fine when i log in from the house side, but when I go to the office, I can’t log in via ethernet cable and access those devices making me assume that the office side is not able to send information, despite my litebeam being able to talk to the rocketprism.
Please help, I’m at my wits end. I even called an electrician to check and replace the outlet.
