Jordan 3 True Blue Batch Comparison (DG vs. RN vs. GX)

So I went way overboard with this comparison but this is my all time favorite sneaker so bare with me. I could have made this twice as long with all my notes and thoughts but tried to make it actually readable.

Also I may have got lucky with my DG pair because TMF said he can no longer get this pair so it may not even be available anymore.

Of course everything here is only my opinion and your opinion may be different.

After comparing all three batches side by side, The differences are subtle, but do exists. Many fall within the normal variation found on retail pairs. Here’s what stood out to me.

Materials
All three use high-quality materials.
DG has the softest leather, although it has less tumble than the others And appears to have a better stretch across the shoe.
RN has soft leather with more noticeable tumble.
GX has the firmest leather but feels the most solidly built and should break in well like previous retail versions.

Backtab
Backtab height is nearly identical on all three.
GX has a lighter blue backtab than DG and RN.
DG has the best Nike Air branding.
GX has thinner “Nike Air” text with wider letter spacing.
RN is slightly bolder than the others.

Collar & Tongue
This is where the biggest differences are.
DG and GX have similarly sized perforations, with GX being slightly smaller. Both fall within visually acceptable to retail pairs.
RN has noticeably larger perforations. For me, this is visually "wrong" and the biggest flaw of the batch and enough to move it behind DG and GX.
The upper collar overlay also differs:
RN has the best angle but sits slightly too low.
GX is similar but still a bit low.
DG has the best height but is slightly too rounded.
GX also has a noticeably thicker tongue, while DG and RN are closer to recent retail releases.

Elephant Print
Honestly, all three are excellent.
DG and GX are extremely similar, while RN has slightly darker and thicker black lines that may actually be closer to retail. I’ll know for sure once I compare them to my authentic pair.
GX has the tallest toe cut, while DG and RN have slightly lower cuts that I personally prefer.
Overall, elephant print is basically a tie.

Shape, Fit & Feel
All three have good overall shape.
DG and RN feel softer on foot, while GX feels more solidly built.
Sizing was interesting:
My normal size is 10.5.
DG and GX fit true to size.
My RN size 10 fits perfectly, confirming my opinion that RN still runs slightly oversized.
This also highlights something I’ve noticed for years. RN has always felt a little bulkier than retail, while DG and GX feel much closer to an authentic Jordan 3 on foot.

Final Thoughts
DG
Pros: Softest leather, excellent Nike Air branding, great overall balance.
Cons: Collar overlay is slightly too rounded.

GX
Pros: Best overall construction, closest retail feel on foot, excellent shape.
Cons: Thin Nike Air branding, lighter backtab blue, thicker tongue.

RN
Pros: Soft leather, great elephant print, good branding.
Cons: Oversized perforations and a bulkier, oversized fit.

My Current Ranking
1. GX – Best overall shape and construction.
2. DG – Extremely close to GX with the softest leather and excellent details.
3. RN – Still an excellent batch, but the oversized perforations and fit keep it in third place.

The differences are small, and your preference will come down to which details matter most. I’ll update this review after comparing all three directly to my retail pair.

DG Batch 2026 Air Jordan 3 True Blue Review

This review is strictly my opinion and nothing else.

First, I want to say that the True Blue Jordan 3 is an all-time favorite of mine. I remember the first retro release back in the early 2000s and instantly falling in love with this shoe. The 2016 version left a lot to be desired, so this upcoming release is very exciting for me and many others who love this colorway.

Overall, I think DG did a very good job with this sneaker. The elephant print appears to have the correct, lighter look that Jordan Brand has stuck with on recent OG releases. Obviously, until retail pairs are available, we won’t know for sure, but I’m feeling pretty confident that the elephant print on this shoe will end up being very similar.

The leather quality on these really stands out. It’s super soft with the perfect amount of tumbling, in my opinion, without being overly pebbled. My biggest complaint would probably be the tongue. It’s a little thin, but not so thin that it’s obvious on foot. It’s just something I noticed as a true Jordan 3 fan.

The overall shape and elephant print cuts look really good and, in my opinion, are a huge upgrade over the 2016 pair. I’m really happy with these and haven’t seen many people mentioning them as a legitimate contender against GX and Y3.

I think the GX pair also looks really good, and I’ll probably end up picking up a pair of those to compare. I also believe that retail elephant print will vary somewhat from pair to pair and will likely end up somewhere between the look of GX and DG. On the other hand, I think the Y3 elephant print is a little too thick for this specific release.

These fit TTS and do not run slightly big like iv experienced with other batches

Only time will tell once retail pairs finally drop, but based on what I’ve seen so far, DG has definitely earned a spot in the conversation for the best batch of the 2026 True Blue Jordan 3.

Travis Scott Jordan 4 Review: Old PK Batch vs. LJR B Grade

Before getting into the comparison, it’s worth noting that the PK batch includes the hangtag in all of the photos.

This comparison is based on my personal opinion only.

After comparing the old PK batch to the LJR B Grade Travis Scott Jordan 4s side-by-side, I found the two pairs to be extremely close overall.

The color on both pairs is nearly identical. However, the PK batch has noticeably better suede movement, which can make the upper appear slightly lighter depending on the angle and lighting. As far as material quality and feel, both pairs seem virtually the same.

One area where I think the PK batch has an advantage is the shape of the netting below the tongue. It appears to be closer to retail in terms of shape and placement. On the other hand, I think the LJR netting has a more accurate finish, as it has a flatter, more matte appearance, while the PK netting is slightly glossier.

It’s worth noting that the LJR pair is a size 11 and the PK pair is a size 10.5, so some minor differences could be the result of scaling between sizes.

The tongues are very similar in thickness, although the PK tongue may be slightly longer. I also prefer the Jumpman embroidery on the PK tongue patch, as it looks a bit cleaner and more accurate.

The outsole and midsole colors appear identical between the two pairs.

The wax laces are thicker on the PK pair where LJR laces appear to be more accurate to retail photos.

Overall, you really can’t go wrong with either batch. The differences are minor, and both are strong options. However, considering how close they are and the fact that the PK batch is significantly less expensive while offering better suede movement, I would give the edge to the PK batch in this comparison. For the price, PK would be my choice.

Thought you all would appreciate my most recent project. Seen these floating around online. People want $700 plus for a single drawer and even more for a full dresser. I paid around $120 for this cheap dresser and made my own at home. Already had paint and tools to make it happen. Came out pretty dope!

This is a comparison of PK batch vs Retail.

Retail is unlaced.

Overall, the differences between PK batch and retail on the Air Jordan 1 Low "Banned" are extremely minimal. The retail pair has slightly more tumbling on the Nike swoosh and red heel leather, but both details can vary pair to pair and are barely noticeable under different lighting.

The toebox leather looks nearly identical on both pairs in shape and texture. The PK tongue may be slightly longer, and the black leather on the PK feels a bit softer in hand, but visually they look very close.

Honestly, these are about as close as it gets. Most differences are very minor and hard to notice unless you’re comparing them side by side. LS batch looks very similar to PK and may be just as good. PK did really well on this shoe as you can see.

PK batch was ordered from TMF direct for $115 shipped to US.

Recieved these a couple weeks ago and had to let them air out in garage for 2 weeks because the factory smell was horrendous. I ordered a size up like was suggested and they were still way too small. I usually wear a 10 in these type shoes (slides, sandles) so I ordered an 11. I couldn't even fit my foot in them. Not only was the length too short, the width was way to tight I literally couldn't even squeeze my foot in there. So I gave them to my son who wears a 7.5. They fit him perfect which is even more crazy. Today was the first time he wore them. He wore them to school. They are testing all week so I know he didn't do anything to cause major stress to the shoes. Literally just walking to class and sitting. I didn't have much hope in these in general but falling apart the very first day is pretty bad. Hopefully they aren't all like this and I just got a bad pair. Either way it's unfortunate.

First attempt at a watch. Went with this Omega SM 300 with miyota movement. I'm pretty happy with it. I know it's not top tier and what everyone likes to call a "shitter" lol. But this is really all I need. Purchased direct from MT and recieved it in about 3 weeks. Might grab another in a different style if this one holds up well.
