Thoughts on this portfolio (I'm new)

Hello sub!

I'm a relatively new investor coming into the market for the first time. Just for background, I'm 20 years old. I have my own car (paid off) and have no plans of getting my own place as of right now. I don't have much overhead expenses and so I'm focusing on investing for my future. I do plan to be in this for the long-term. Currently I have 100% in VOO and looking for ways to get the most bang for my buck in the long-term while also ensuring I'm not overly heavy in one market and give myself a cusion (I do believe in the US market to perform)

Looking for suggestions as well as critiques for this potential portfolio. How would you improve it? What changes would you make? Etc.

Go easy on me, I'm still learning.

Ye’s “Throne” at the end of King

How fitting is it that the man who made “Watching the Throne” believing he’s on top of the world along side his brother who he viewed as on the top of the world is still on the “throne” but quite a different one?

The usage of irony and juxtaposition shows that Kanye despite him aging and going through an interesting emotional rollercoaster has not lost a touch artistically.

The song gives the impression of Ye’s egotistical side at first glance. How he’s named the King. How famous he still is despite the controversy. How this is the feeling we the audience need more of. But the question is, do we?

When we dive deeper into the lyrics we quickly peel back the layers behind this king persona. How he’s drunk off power while pouring up. How he’s treated like an orphan. How his pain has blurred his thoughts up. Is this guy really the King? Is this really a feeling he needs more of? Is this a feeling we the audience need more of?

Of course not. There is nothing kingly about the content of this song however theres a mask of ego that covers it revealing his true mental state. This is a classic Kanye move. Juxtaposition and irony has been done countless times by Ye and this is no exception. This song in theme reminds me of Amazing where we see the same exact thing.

This is “theory” if you will confirmed by the last scene of the music video. We see Kanye sit on a throne of sorts. He has two men standing beside him as a King would have his guards standing next to him. As he sits he’s “helped” by his “guards” they strap him up to the “throne” and place a “crown”on his head. As the audience we realize this is no good throne. This is not fitting for a King. This will lead to his demise unless he vanquishes this false idea of a King.

You know what season it is.
