Opinions on upcoming Style Riders themes
SSO posted the upcoming Style Riders themes yesterday (although they were already leaked several weeks ago). Honestly, I'm not very happy with these. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do for "party under the midnight sun" and "staying cool" because I feel like almost anything even vaguely summery could fit both of those themes as long as it has short sleeves. I feel like the other three themes are designed to encourage people to buy recent sets in the last week of the festival, when they will be most likely to spend Star Coins. The "fish are friends" theme clearly corresponds to the Full o' Bubbles set, the "tourist in Fort Pinta" theme to the Pinta Summer set, and the "underwater royalty" theme to the Maiden of Waves and Mother of Pearl sets. There are of course other ways that you could try to dress, but I expect many people to use those specific sets because of how clearly on theme they are. What are your thoughts?
