EDIT: I keep getting private messages with pictures from people saying they did the same thing, but their issue still isn't resolved. The problem is that a lot of them are just talking to the AI support chat inside the app instead of doing what I explained here (opening an email ticket). Please read the instructions, wait a couple of days for an email back, and then let me know if it worked!

I’m making this post because my account went through a shadowban recently (0 views + no add to story), and I know a lot of people go through this same exact thing.

First, What I’m about to show you is not guaranteed to work for everyone, but you should definitely try it because this is what worked for me.

(Now, before I write how I fixed it, let me just say: never listen to people who make videos about this situation saying stuff like “interact with this video, like, comment, share, so TikTok will see you're not a bot and will understand you have a problem”... they are literally just farming likes and views. IYKYK!)

Ok, so here is what you actually need to do:

1. Go to your Profile.
2. Click on the 3 bars at the top right.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Scroll down until you see Help Center and click it.
5. Click Report a problem.
6. At the very bottom, click on Online reporting form.

• Topic: Account access
• Category: Banned account

Scroll down and now you need to submit the ticket form:

• Username: Your username
• Contact email: the email where TikTok can message you
• Additional details: This is where you explain what happened.

I’m gonna post the text I wrote below. I recommend maybe changing it up a little bit so they don't get the same copy paste from everyone:

Hey! I need someone to look into my account ([@YourUsername]) because it’s completely bricked right now.

I know the difference between a video just flopping/having low views and a shadowban or a bug. Every single new video I post is stuck at exactly 0 views. They aren't hitting the FYP at all. I know for sure that my account has been falsely restricted!

On top of that, my "Add to Story" button completely disappeared, and whenever I try to use the promote tool, it gets instantly rejected for no reason.

I haven’t broken any community guidelines and have zero warnings on my account, so I’m pretty sure my profile is trapped in a glitch or got falsely flagged by a bot. Can you guys please check my account and clear whatever is blocking my videos?

Now, at the end, you can also attach 2 photos. I attached a photo of my account check result showing that I do not violate any guidelines, and another photo showing my views before and after the restriction.

And that’s it.

After a couple of days, I got an email from TikTok saying that a person looked through my account, saw that I did not violate any guidelines, and because of that, my restriction was removed.

Now again, it’s NOT GUARANTEED to work for everyone, but this is what worked for me.
