Since one of the greatest manhwa of all time was done this year, I know that a lot of you guys (same for me of course) are missing our goat Lloyd Frontera. So, I wanted to share some of my favorite manhwa which I find similar to TGED, either for the comedy, the isekai genre, or a mix of the two.

What a Bountiful Harvest, Demon Lord ! | Genre : Isekai/Comedy/Fantasy (Ongoing)

Summary : Our MC used to play a video game that he finished almost more than 20 times in a row, which makes his character OP. But when he was about to load a new run, he got reincarnated on the body of the last boss of the game, the demon lord, King Credos. He then realised that the demons starve and are missing foods, which lead them to eat each others. The MC decide to build an harvest - due to the fact that he used to study agriculture' stuff on his ordinary life - with the help of the demons generals and the other demons, without getting the attention of his max level character who's somehow awake, on his way to finish the game.
Why I enjoy this story : This manhwa is litteraly the one that everybody give as a recommendation for TGED's fans since it's the prequel of it. To me more presice, it's the story of the demons Lloyd has met with Artanis and the ones doing agriculture. It has the same type of story build and I think that what I like the most is that Credos, the MC, does the same type of faces than Lloyd, beside the fact that it's not the same artist ! (Big up for him doing a similar artstyle has TGED unlike Apothecary Prince which is the Sequel of TGED.) I also really enjoy the demons generals and the look of the character the MC use to play with. And let's not forget the mention of TGED with the >!rip-off version of Lloyd and Javier lol !!<

Return of the Blossoming Blade (alternative name : Return of the Month Hua Sect) | Genre : Murim/Reincarnation/Comedy/Action (Ongoing)

Summary : The story talk about a MC who died from another character stronger than him, Evil Cheonma, the leader of the Demonic Cult. He got reincarnated into the body of a young beggar 100 years after his death. He decide to visite the Month Hua Sect - the sect where he was before - but see that it's now a forgotton sect, and decide to rebuild it with the help of the current members. His goal is to revive the glory day of his sect after the disaster of the Demonic Cult
Why I enjoy this story : It has a similar humor than TGED due to the MC doing funny faces too ! What I enjoy with TGED is how each characters are not forgotton, and I got the same feeling here. Just like Bountiful Harvest, there's also the equivalent of the 4 demons generals with here 4 member of the Month Hua Sect that he got to train. The MC and his group got such an amazing vibe together, you can feel than even if Cheonmyong (MC's name) is just completly silly and love making troubles, his group still wan't to be with him because it's thanks to him that the cult is doing better (even if he's REALLY making lots of troubles everywhere) + the fact that Cheonmyong is extremly talented ! They're just like Javier who has to follow Lloyd everywhere because it's thanks to him that his new home is getting better. I also really love the artstyle on it, really colorful with lots of pink ! (I love the color pink :3)

Return of the Mad Demon (alternative name : Return of the Crazy Mad Demon) | Genre : Murim/Reincarnation/Comedy/Action (Hiatus, but it's very recent)

Summary : The MC, Jaha Lee (Ik that he has different names depending on the translation) was once called the Mad Demon, but decide to die after eating a mysterious pearl and got reincarnated into his body 100 years before. After reliving an incident, he decide to create on his own a new sect with the goal to protect the ones getting an hard life due to the world of murim.
Why I enjoy this story : It also has some great comedy, but unlike Lloyd, Jaha Lee's comedy part comes by his art of ragebait (I swear, this guy is the master of ragebait but it's just natural to him lol). He's litteraly still crazy, both mentally and psychologically. I also find him really interesting on his own : I love his goal of protecting the others because this world is not safe for the weaker. He has learnt the art of murim and how they fight on his past life and do the same here (He also gets stronger very fast thanks to the pearl he eated and what he know from his past life). Something else that I love is his crazyness let's say. I naturally really like those type of "psycho character", without getting into the edgy dark lord type of archetype. He was already not mentally stable before, and his inner demons are still here on his new life. Lots of the time he just k-lls people without hesitations and start to loose his ming. But what I enjoy the most really comes by the comedy. Just the first episode is so funny.👌There's also a specific ep that made me cry out of laught, I swear I have never laught that hard before, I think even on TGED ! >!"Sh*t Yourself" Iykyk!<

The Ki Sisters | Genre : Comedy/Romance (Completed)

Summary : 4 sisters living on a spooky house surrounded by a dark forest and almost never interacting with the outside world. But the last sister of the 4 loves reading romance storys and wish to meet a love interest too. One day, after the longest eyes contact that I have ever seen, she start to have a crush on a young boy and think that he's probably a student. She decide, with the acceptation of her sisters, to go on school for the first time of her life with the goal of finding this mysterious but beautiful guy and, maybe, living a romance story.
Why I enjoy this story : I think that if Lloyd had sisters, the Ki Sisters would be the ones lol ! Same crazy faces, pure comedy gold everywhere and every characters are so memorable especially the antagonist, she's my favorite !). This story is shorter than the other ones (around 50 ep if I'm not mistaking) but it's very enjoyable ! It's not a fantasy/isekai like TGED, but if you love comedy this is for you !

The Knight Only Lives Today (alternative name : Eternally Regressing Knight) | Genre : Regression/Action/Comedy (Ongoing)

Summary : Enclide is a knight and leader of a group completly out of control. After a dangerous fight against the enemies, Enclide die, but after meeting a strange character representing the reaper, he got reincarnated at the start of the day, before his death. Due to the fact that Enclide is the weaker of his group (and also one of the weakest knight of his faction) he has to revive over and over his death, but still decide to not giving up, until he could finally change his fate.
Why I enjoy this story : Say it with me, *the-co-me-dy* ! Once again this manhwa has great comedy moments due to Enclide and especially his group, all so enjoyable on their own ! What I love is also the story on itself. I like how strong the MC of Blossoming Blade or Mad Demon are, but here this MC is REALLY weak (not to say bad) (but he's kinda bad yeah) (sorry Enclide ur still the goat) but he never give up. (even the "reaper guy" is like "Bro, why don't you wanna accept your fate ? It's the 500th time I have to reincarnate you...") There's also an equivalent of Queen Alicia on this manhwa, your going to love her if you haven't read this yet !

Love Advice From the Great Duke of Hell | Genre : Comedy/Romance (Completed)

Summary : The MC, Paul, once discovered a girl and has a crush on her. But with his family completly clueless, what's a better option to have love advice by summoning a demon ?
Why I enjoy this story : It has this type of comedy that I love which are the innuendo. And just by the summary you can feel that this manhwa is unserious and is going to be a rolercoaster. Each ep are very short so it's fast to read (I read everything in like a day). Very enjoyable too ! (I also recommand Vampire Family which is another manhwa made by the same creator)

Maru is a Puppy | Genre : Comedy/Slice of Life/Reincarnation (Completed)

Summary : The story talk about a girl living alone with her little dog called Maru. After watching a dumb movie on her tv about a dog being reincarnated as a lovely looking boy and getting a love story with her owner, she decide without that much conviction to make a wish similar to the movie she just watched (it was mostly just for fun). The next day, she discover that her dog actually got reincarnated as a human, but not a lovely looking guy... A little - and still annoying - girl.
Why I enjoy this story : It's again pure comedy gold, but something that I didn't mention before is that I was surprised about the depth of some subject that the story talked about sometimes : Living alone, pressure of the family, adoption, Maru's past... Exactly with TGED, especially when it comes to Kim Suho's past when he was at Seoul and the story about his parents death and his depression which is something I also got to experious one day (not for the part about the parents, Im talking about the episode when Lloyd got to experience depression again when he discovered that him or Javier has to die). Also I just really love Maru, she was so funny ! I just love the way she's badly drawn unlike the other characters.

+99 Reinforced Wooden Stick | Genre : Fantasy/Virtual Video Game/Comedy (Ongoing)

Summary : Our MC is a player of a famous virtual video game called Chrono Life. One day, he get the chance to farm some monsters with a beautiful looking girl who betrailed him, telling him that he's just a noob and nobody is gonna play with him anyway. After loosing everything, another newbie give to him a wooden stick for compation and leave him alone after his donation. Since he has nothing else to do, he decide to upgrade the wooden stick, but thanks to an insane luck, his simple wooden stick has now the highest level and became the strongest weapon of the game.
Why I enjoy this story : I actually love the idea of a dumb looking weapon being the strongest, it's something that I hope a story would focus into and this one is very nice ! Once again, if you love Lloyd's facial expression, let's just say that this MC is pure nightmare fuel. The comedy is... Something. It's clearly not going to be for everyone I'm not gonna lie (it's already a manhwa who gets a lots of criticise for the story writting, his artstyle and some fan-service when it comes to the 2 girls the MC has on his group). I personnaly don't really care about this part and still find it really cool to read ! I also like to say that it's my favorite manhwa with the Virtual Reality Video Game genre. The game itself is nice, we get to know the developer of the game, lost of VG's references and the other characters are nice. (and I have a crush on the girl called Luna...) I also recommand Shovel Up (on the same universe) and Hardcore Leveling Warrior (made by the same creator/studio if I'm not wrong) if you enjoyed this story too.

Mr. Delivery Knight | Genre : Isekai/Comedy/Romance (Completed)

Summary : What if the guy driving the truck which make 90% of any Isekai's character reincarnated into another world you watched in ur life is actually the one getting isekai'd ? Well, this story is litteraly just what I said, a driver and his truck-kun reincarnated into a random otome isekai.
Why I enjoy this story : This story is very cliché : you have mr Truck-Kun, random princess, edgy dark prince with dark hair and dark red eyes and love interest with blond hair and blue eyes. This one is also very short (around 50 ep) but there's a lot of meme potential and it's, again, very enjoyable !

Eleceed | Genre : Superpower/Action/Comedy/Slice of Life (Ongoing)

Summary : Our MC, Jiwoo, has a super speed power but dosen't wanna show it and just keep this secret safe. But one day after giving foods to random streets cat like he usually do, and discover a cat who actually talk. After helping him out, this cat, called Kayden, explain that he also has superpower and it'sthanks to him that Jiwoo is going to learn the world of the awakened, people with other super powers hiding their true identity to the world.
Why I enjoy this story : I just wanted to start by saying that I LOOOOOOOOVE the artstyle on this story (def my most fav) There's a good mix of Slice of Life when it comes to Jiwoo and his friends + Kayden being stuck on the body of a cat, comedy and mostly action (I really enjoy a lot of scenes on this manhwa). I do have to say that just like Reinforced Wooden Stick, this manhwa has some criticise, mostly for Jiwoo, the MC, who gets stronger very fast, the story getting kind of nowhere and being very repetitive (I kind of agree with the repetitiveness, but I still enjoy the action part. I'm a manhwa action lover) There's also some criticise with the artstyle bcs the guys have lips which makes them "tomboy looking guy" (Ok this one is a weird take imo, but up to you lol) I also have an unstopabble crush on Kayden...

Tyrant of the Tower Defense Game (alternative name : How I became the Tyrant of a Tower Defense Game or even Tyrant of the Tutorial Tower Defense Game) | Genre : Isekai/Video Game/Fantasy (Ongoing)

Summary : Our MC was once a streamer who beat one of the hardest game ever made. After completing it, he gets reincarnated has a hated character from this tower defense game. With what he used to learn when he was a player, his goal is to beat the tutorial and getting an alternative ending when nobody dies.
Why I enjoy this story : I might be cruel, but I sometimes hope to see people actually dying on this type of manhwa to have real isssues for the MC. Well here on the first ep, after the MC think that he was the first round of the game, a character we got enjoy straip up die 2 min after. It's a real it on the face for us reader and made you realise that this new life is going to be very difficult for our MC. It's more serious than the other ones mention before (even if there's some good comedy sometimes) and this one is really for the Isekai enjoyer out of here.

Omniscient Reader (alternative name : Omniscient Reader Viewerpoint or ORV) | Genre : Reincarnation/Fantasy/Action (Ongoing)

Summary : Kim Dokja is the only reader who finish to read every single ep of an unfamous webnovel. But out of a sudden, his whole world is getting reincarnted into the world of the webnovel, letting Kim Dokja litteraly the only person to know how to survive on this world.
Why I enjoy this story : Memorable characters, great worldbuiding and some good comedy sometimes. This manhwa is just such a classic, it was one of the first manhwa I read because of his concept. I also heard that the original webnovel is even better (I'm not a big webnovels' reader, but I've seen some illustrations and they are A-MA-ZING !) (I also recommand The World After the Fall which I personnaly really enjoy.< (set up on the same universe) Ik some fans dosen't really like it tho)

Pick me up, Infinite Gacha | Genre : Isekai/Video Game/Fantasy/Action (Ongoing)

Summary : MC getting reincarnated into a mobile gacha game he used to be very strong at before. He has to be a basic character and needs to get stronger due to the player controllong him and basicly getting him into the hardest levels without better preperations and characters.
Why I enjoy this story : I love the concept that the MC, beside the fact that he know everything about the game itself, liettraly has his life in the hand of another player. It's been awhile since I haven't came back on this story because I've made a long break with manhwa because I started to watch animes and indie animations this year, but I remember finding this story very interesting and people told me that it just get better later (I'm only at chap 50 if I'm not wrong)

There are no bad Warriors/Heroes in this World | Genre : Isekai/Fantasy/Comedy (Ongoing)

Im not going to say much about it because as I said with Pick me Up, it's been awhile since I haven't read this manhwa. It's basicly another Isekai with Fantasy, cool characters and I heard that it's really funny, but I'm not gonna lie it doesen't appeal to me. It's ok but nothing crazy (I still mention it bcs I'm sure some people are going to enjoy) I'm also getting troubles to enjoy the design of this demon lady who's basicly the boss of the faction the MC get reincarnated into. If people say that the girls from +99 Reinforcer Wooden Stick are fan-servic then this one is on another level...

Why I Quit Being the Demon King | Genre : Fantasy/Action/Comedy (Hiatus)

Summary : Our MC is the upcomming 666th demon king but doesen't wan't to die like everybody else due to the humans always winning the fight. He decide to go into the human's world and try to live a peaceful life out there, even of the demons wants to bring him back to hell.
Why I enjoy this story : I've seen some criticise for this manhwa too, but hey ! I love the MC, I love the comedy and I find the worldbuilding interesting ! I also like the idea of the story on it's own and find the artstyle very unique ! (It's been awhile since it's on hiatus, at least for my translation there's no update for like 1 year now, so my memories are fading away now)

Mon Voeu le Plus Sincère (This one is a french webtoon which doesen't have any translation on the english version of webtoon's app, but I really wanted to mention it because it has a very similar vibe as TGED) | Genre : Comedy/Fantasy/Slice of Life

Summary : A girl encounter a genie, but unlike the one from Aladdin, this one gives her the opportunity to have only 1 wish. After telling her wish, the genie... doesen't allow it because it, hum... kind of suck he think... He then decide to stay with this human and to help her, finding what could be her real most sincere wish. (basicly the name of the Webtoon)
Why I enjoy this story : This is going to be only for the people who speak french like me, simply because the jokes could be understandable by the french (lots of references to the french culture in general, espacially when they do references to famous french youtube videos or songs. When I started to read TGED I legit imediatly compared the two : same comedy, really cool characters, a nice romance between the two MC - just like Lloyd with queen Alicia - and once again I was surprise with the serious subject some episodes have : toxic relation ship with your someone from your family, searching your identity, being surrended by lovely friends(Just like what Javier of Beef guy was for Lloyd/Kim on TGED). This webtoon beside TGED are on my personnal top 5 of best webtoon/manhwa of all time, so again, if you guys speak french you should give it a try (Also I have a crush on the genie...)

I've seen some funny screenshot from this manhwa, it looks similar as Return of the Blossoming Blade, so I'm going to give it a try one day.

Peaceful Camping Life in Another World | Genre : Isekai (?)/Fantasy/Slice of Life

I know that the little white animal on the thumbnail can be seen on the episode where Lloyd learn how to use his freezing time zone's power. I don't really know what this manhwa is about tho, but I've heard some good things about it !

The Regressed Mercenary Has a Plan | Genre : Action

Idk what exactly this manhwa is about, but I've seen screenshots of the horse and it made me wanna read it because he looks so f*cking funny lol !

Well, now I'm tired, it's almost 00:00 PM right now in France lol. I would love to see more rec' on the comments section too and get your thought about some of them, but I hope that your gonna enjoy this list anyway because I've seen a lot of post recently and thought about doing this post to help you guys ! (also I could just give more details than just giving the names on a comment)
