WYR Be poor when you are young and rich when you are old, or rich when you're young and poor when you are old.
Young = 0-25, old = 65+
Think of it like you having rich family who support you 100% until you turned 25, letting you then fend for yourself, and then losing your pension money in the market before you can retire
Or growing up poor and winning the lottery at 65
Not nessisarily these scenarios, just a theoretical example of a way to make it work. But generally you can't use the wealth as a you g person to live off the rest of your life, but you could use the skills or experiences or networking learned during that time to make adult life better, but some inevitable financial catastrophe will come when you are around 65 that you can't prevent.
If you are older than 25, you would have all the, experiences, education, networking and other advantages growing up rich would have provided you.
Please don't disengage from the sub
I heard on the podcast today that Burnie wants to stoop engaging with this subreddit and focus on the website instead.
I think I understand what he is doing and why he is doing it, he wants the website to be the home of the community.
However, the way the podcast engages with the audience on the subreddit is one of my favorite parts. Hearing things posted on the sub ending up in the podcast, or seeing a back and forth develop is a lot of fun, and I think it just won't be the same experience on their website.
They put a lot of effort into cultivating this community on Reddit, and I'd hate to see them just leave it behind
