Xpoudy vs Instantly (2026): a detailed breakdown of pricing, data, verification, and warmup

Disclosure: I built Xpoudy, so I'm biased. I tried to be fair here, including where Instantly is the better pick.

Most outbound teams now spread sending across 20-50 secondary domains and keep each inbox under ~30 emails/day. Instantly helped popularize this by dropping per-mailbox pricing. The catch is that costs climb as your lists grow, because of contact caps and add-ons.

Business model

  • Instantly: Monthly subscription ($37 to $358+), capped active leads, a separate CRM add-on ($47/mo), and separate credits for lead search.
  • Xpoudy: The sending engine, warmup, and unified inbox are free. Revenue comes from pay-as-you-go credits for lead data and email verification, plus an optional $499 lifetime Pro license. If you already have your own leads and verifier, you never have to pay.

Contact limits (the biggest practical difference)

Both support unlimited mailboxes (Google, Microsoft 365, SMTP). The difference is how many leads you can have active:

  • Instantly Growth ($37): 1,000 active leads
  • Hypergrowth ($97): 25,000
  • Light Speed ($358): 100,000
  • Xpoudy: no cap, so the only limit is safe per-inbox volume (~30-40/day)

For example, a 40k-store list from Apollo or Clay wouldn't fit on Hypergrowth, forcing a jump to the $358 tier.

Lead data

  • Instantly: A standard B2B directory (job title, headcount, domain filters), similar to Apollo.
  • Xpoudy: 250M+ LinkedIn B2B contacts, 40M+ Instagram creators and DTC brands (handles, followers, engagement, business emails), and 9.5M+ domains filterable by tech stack (Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, GoHighLevel, ClickFunnels, etc.). This matters if you sell to e-commerce, creators, or users of specific tools.

Email verification

Bounce rates above ~2-3% can get domains flagged by Google and Yahoo. Standard SMTP checks, which most tools use, can't resolve catch-all domains, so they're marked "risky" or "unknown." That often means discarding 30-40% of a list or risking bounces. Xpoudy's deep verification uses multi-stage handshakes and server inspection to return a Valid/Invalid verdict, and also screens for spam traps and disposable domains.

Warmup

Roughly a tie. Both offer P2P warmup meshes, a 14-day automatic ramp-up, AI contextual replies, IMAP-based spam rescue, and inbox health scores. The difference is that Xpoudy includes it free, while Instantly includes it on paid plans.

Master inbox

  • Instantly: Unibox is tied to its Kanban CRM, so replies marked "Interested" or "Meeting Booked" flow onto a deal board.
  • Xpoudy: The Unibox is built for fast triage, with threaded replies sent from the original account (preserving headers and DKIM), custom color tags, and filtering across many client domains.

1-year software cost (from the article's scenarios)

Scenario Instantly Xpoudy
Solo founder, 10 inboxes, 2.5k leads/mo $1,164 $0
Agency, 30 inboxes, 20k leads/mo $1,728 $0
High-scale, 80+ inboxes, 80k leads/mo $4,860 $0

(Xpoudy's data and verification credits are extra if you use them.)

Where Instantly wins

  1. Built-in drag-and-drop Kanban CRM, handy if you don't already use HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close, or Notion
  2. Large community (Slack, Skool) with shared templates and teardowns
  3. Native two-way sync with Salesforce and HubSpot

Where Xpoudy wins

  1. Free core sending infrastructure
  2. Instagram creator/DTC database
  3. Tech-stack lists
  4. Deep catch-all verification
  5. No penalties for large uploads

Which should you pick?

  • Instantly: If you want an all-in-one CRM, target standard corporate LinkedIn profiles, stay under ~1,000 active leads, or value the community.
  • Xpoudy: If you want to cut recurring software costs, target creators, e-commerce, or specific tech stacks, need cleaner catch-all handling, or run an agency with big multi-client lists.

Migrating takes about 10 minutes: export your CSVs, connect your mailboxes with app passwords or SMTP credentials, paste your sequences, and launch.
