I built a free online simulator to explain the x-ray tube to students!
I've been working on an interactive x-ray tube simulator for radiography students, and I'd love for people to try it out!
One of my biggest goals with teaching radiography physics is to get beyond memorization. I want students to understand why things happen, not just memorize definitions and formulas for the registry.
This simulator lets you adjust kVp and mAs and see what's happening inside the x-ray tube. I've also built a guided section that walks through the tube components, and I'm working on questions to reinforce these concepts.
This is an early project, so I'm sharing it in hopes of getting honest feedback from students and fellow technologists. I'd love to hear what works, what doesn't, and what other concepts you'd want to see turned into interactive simulations.

Feel free to play around with it! I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback.
