Thoughts on the upcoming album
For quite some time now, there's been something that doesn't necessarily bother me, but does leave me intrigued when it comes to the songs and the way they've been produced.
What I mean is that, as much as I absolutely love the songs, I feel like most of them really not connect with one another. Whether it's the style, the vibe, the themes, or other aspects, each one feels completely different.
With the next album coming out soon, I was wondering if anyone else also feels a bit "lost" about what to expect going forward.
In case I wasn't clear, what I mean is that most band and groups develop a clear identity—not only for the band itself, but also for each specific album, a messege, a story and etc.
If I listen to a song by Ado, Ano, Wednesday Campanella or others, I can immediately tell it's one of their songs. But with Atarashii Gakko it always feels somewhat "random".
Again, this is not—and never will be—a criticism. It's simply a thought and an observation.
