Jesus, mother of God, it was awful. I stood there next to that fucking dishwasher, and the dishes just kept coming and piling up before my eyes, as if multiplying by some kind of magic. No matter how hard I tried to wash everything on time, I couldn't even finish half of it by the end of my shift—and I knew that if I didn't get it done, a penalty was coming in the form of a pay cut.
Every time the waiter from the hotel restaurant wheeled in a cart full of dishes, despair would wash over me. And the son of a bitch would just smirk, unload it all on me, and head back to the dining room. It was one of the crappiest jobs I’ve ever worked, even worse than playing a clown at kids' birthday parties. Walking into that dishroom for a measly 17.50 kuna an hour—barely enough for mere survival—was like going to prison and stripping yourself of everything else, including life itself.
Years later, I found out that George Orwell felt the exact same way while washing dishes in Paris hotels during the 1930s, and I found my own thoughts reflected in his sentences—but who cares about that? Orwell is dead, and so is his philosophy. I had been hungry for days, and since a friend of mine was working at the hotel, he somehow pulled strings to get me that dishwashing job—putting his own reputation on the line for me, which was already a huge favor.
So anyway, there I was: 23 years old, an intellectual who knew everything about everything, but nothing useful, wearing my only pair of shoes—slightly worn through at the right big toe. I somehow suppressed the fact that I had read all of Plato and that my college buddies were out having fun somewhere on a Saturday night, and I accepted the most pathetic job in the world—dishwasher.

I personally think he has the highest skill cap of any ruler as he’s all about knowing movement and position in this game. He kinda has really easy ruler quests if you know how to use him, if you don’t, it’s a struggle.

Also, people who say “placing his bamboo thing directly on does like no dmg”, it actually it does percentage dmg, 25% twice if directly on top, so for example a king dummy would go from 3k to 1.5k and surrounding troops would take 25%. (keep in mind this is first placement without any growth)

Since his thing does percentage dmg, he’s also great against full undead (maybe)
