Do excluded employees get the 5 paid sick days granted from the bc employment act? Or just STIIP pay?

Maternity leave hacks/return to work requirement
Anyone figure out the best way to maximize maternity leave benefits?
OR get around the return to work requirement?
Can I take a 12 month mat leave, come back for a day, then take a 6 month leave of absence? That would make my return to work requirement 1 year opposed to 18 months.
