Petco Coral

Despite the current corporate policies which unfortunately neglect the well-being of certain animals in other departments at Petco, I’d like to give my local store a quick shoutout.

‘Assorted corals’ which I purchased for typically $15-20 with discounts: Merilunidae / brain coral (blue - 1st picture), Leptastrea (blue/yellow- 2nd picture), and possibly montipora or lithophyllon?(yellow- 3rd picture). Their Duncan’s are also $15 without any discount (first pic)

Dipping in hydrogen peroxide is necessary but I’ve honesty seen more pests on frags from friends and hobbyists

Greetings all, I’ve posted here about my nightmare clownfish pair a couple of times in the past. A smaller, docile male and larger very aggressive female were together with a tailspot blenny for months, very peacefully. The female clownfish would only show aggression towards the male, and would sometimes chase the blenny out of its territory- nothing more.

I lost the tailspot after it jumped out while I was away from home, and tried a kamahora blenny which was absolutely beautiful but my female clownfish did not let it have any space in the tank. The tailspot would wedge itself into holes in my live rock and expose its fangs when provoked by the clownfish, which the kamahora did not seem capable of or keen on. The female bullied the poor thing to death before I could save it.

What are my options for livestock if any at this point?

Current tank members:
2 clowns
10-15 various snails
2-3 nassarius snails
3 hermits
Emerald crab
Peppermint shrimp

Debating another tailspot, a bottom dweller or percher such as a goby, or adding some other cool inverts since I feel like something is missing after the blenny passed and my nitrates are bottomed out!! An acclimation box will be used if/when introducing the fish (tried to with the kamahora and he escaped). Thanks in advance for any advice
