I’m recording a series of conversations with Alvin Kallicharran, including a separate episode built entirely around questions submitted by cricket fans online.

This is my first proper interview project, and I’m doing the research and production by myself. Alvin has such a deep connection with India that it felt wrong to prepare everything without giving Indian cricket supporters a chance to ask him something directly.

If you had one question for him, what would it be?

It could be about his Indian roots, batting against India’s spinners, his 124 in Bangalore, his 187 at Wankhede, Gavaskar or Viswanath, captaining West Indies in India, the crowds, or something completely different.

I’ll ask the top-voted sensible questions in the audience episode.
