Bianchini

Bianchini

https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/florian-bianchini/leistungsdaten/spieler/715923/saison/ges

He is under contract until June 2028. Having been absent from the main squad's preseason, last Saturday he started and played 60 minutes for U21.

Last season, while on loan at Portsmouth, he suffered a knee injury in training (by the looks of the data) in early December (12/2025). He was involved in 11 games prior to that.

The season before (24/25), he made 38 appearances for us, starting in 13, primarily as a #9.

As a teen he played for the French U-19.

I always thought he gave a good account of himself when playing for the first team.

At 25, what will become of him now? Is he still recovering following his knee injury? Seems that the U21 match was his first match back on recovery.

Do we twist or stick?

Thoughts?

Swans v Brum - Carabao Cup

First game of the season - not a typical cup tie line-up. Vig in goal.

New players galore on the field. Last season's typical starts now on the bench. Zip still not consider as fit / worthy as Idah. Interesting. Walta on the bench also.

Swansea City: Lawrence Vigouroux; Filip Lissah, Ben Cabango (captain), Cameron Burgess, Josh Tymon; Marko Stamenic, Melker Widell, Elijah Just; Moussa Yeo, Joseph Opoku; Adam Idah.

Substitutes: Andy Fisher, Josh Key, Jay Fulton, Zan Vipotnik, Jisung Eom, Tiago Parente, Leo Walta, Stephen Welsh, Ronald.

Matos: "For us, we don't separate competitions. We work for the next game, and that's what we're going to do this game.

“It's our next game, the first game of the season, so for us it's a game we want to compete in, and that's what we need. It's a competition that we want to stay involved in as much as we can. We prepare as normal, ultimately preparing to try and win the game."

Rant - Club App is a Mess!!!

I downloaded the IOS version this past weekend onto my iPhone and iPad. Hoping in vane that I would be able to pick up the Legannes match if it was streamed.

The app doesn't login properly, fails to pick up your profile, and crashes whenever you look at it ... literally.

I have sent emails into the media account at the Club. Not hopeful for a fix by the weekend ... the Brum match is on Paramount+ in the USA.

One other rant while I am at it: the Club didn't post the offer of a season streaming pass until Monday morning. On Saturday last ... not seeing the season pass available ... I purchased a monthly for August. Not well pleased.

Bottom line ... we seem to have our shit together when it comes to player trading this season ... is it tooooo much to ask that the simpler tasks of streaming and apps and media passes (not like any of this is brand new!!!) can be done with some semblance of professionalism.

Ballsy Statement ... Can't wait to beat them

Downes ... "We are winning this league".

Downes .... never really took to him. He was a bit of c@#t when he played at the Liberty for Soton last season. For that matter, Soton were a bunch of c@#ts when it came to Martin - left a bad taste did that - worse than what Liverpool did wrt Allen when they got Rogers, or what Martinez did with Scotland when Martinez jumped to Wigan.

Downes ... "We had the chance last year but didn't get to [achieve it] for whatever reason but we're looking strong so far."

The "whatever reason" is that Soton were a bunch of cheating bar stewards and are starting this season on -4 points.

Game 1: CD Leganes

Looking forward to seeing the starting line-up and the final dress rehearsal for the competition opener against Brum.

I have a monthly steaming pass in hand. I have emailed the club asking if today's game is being streamed: no response yet. I'm hopeful, otherwise I'll be checking out the match highlights video.

Parker has been sent to a L1 side. Surely he is worth better than that. Wales was sent back to Scotland last season, and Parker has demonstrated value at the Championship level. Would have preferred to have him stay in the squad or at least go to a club in the SPL. It's not like we don't credit up there after the performances of Lissah, Cotterill and Congreve.
