Raw cane sugar substitute
Hello!
I have a recipe for a cake that calls for "raw cane sugar", and I am not sure I will be able to find this today. What would be the best susbtitute for it?
I am based in the UK, if that helps.
Thank you all in advance for your help.
Edit for the "recipe":
This is for a simple Cuban yogurt cake. Ingredients are: yogurt, eggs, plain flour, baking powder, baking soda, raw cane sugar, vegetable oil, plain flour, lime zest and juice.
No special technique involved, really just a simple cake.
(Sorry, not posting the full recipe here as it comes from a book, so not a free one from a website).
