My take on Milishial infantry, they are magic people so they relied on magic for range attack usually in form of rapid fire magic bullet summon from magic circle, their magic sword capable cut through steel and concrete.

They also have passive magic barrier activate all the time combine with armored they wear make them resilient against small firearm, only high power caliber or 50cal could seriously harm them if they not use dedicated barrier spell that is, they also can use invisibility spell but it will deactivate when movement is too erratic so it best at ambush and infiltration stealth.

Deadly at CQC and range combat.

Standard issue assault rifle for the Commonwealth of Arcadia military see service in all branches even have variants for use in space. It signature use of case-less ammunition and top load magazines is due to desired to pack powerful high velocity rounds in small compact packages, thank to the advanced in chemistry Arcadia case-less propellant use super’s table chemical compound similar to C4 with very high melting point, meaning it safe from accidental discharge and resist to environment. To ignite the propellant all ammo have primer make of chemicals that have Piezoelectricity properties only created electrical signals when strike by bolt to ignite propellant.

This gun was designed with powerful magical beasts inhabited Arcadia island in mind making this gun have unusually high penetration performance for assault rifle capable of penetrating light armor vehicles, this make MAD-50 performed stellar against magic barrier use by mage and hard scale of wyvern but it still struggles against irregular high level being like demon lord and his two ogre. This also make gun recoil kick like a horse even with all the recoil management mechanisms, but thankfully all Arcadia troop come equipped with standard EXO suit which this gun design to work in tandem with so the recoil issue is solved.

The gun still suffers from heat related issues with case-less ammunition since they don’t have case that absorb the heat from ignition to eject, to address this, magazine was make with heat sink material to dump all the heat from ignition back to it and use it surfaces space to disperse and manage the heat. In most combat situations there is no issue but if soldier empty all 50 rounds in seconds the magazine temperature could reach 70 Celsius, so it recommends to wear gloves or shake the magazine off with motion, 70 Celsius is still far from melting point so no concern for ammunition misfiring.

Lastly, despite the aim to reduce the package size and weight with case-less ammunition, the brass end up making troop carry more ammunition instead. So Arcadia troop still carry the same weight but with more ammunition on average 300 rounds in 6 magazines, lot of complaints from troops but the decision is final.
