It’s very exciting to not only have all 5 amendments fail but also to see an all-Black runoff for the U.S. Senate in Louisiana with Jamie Davis and Gary Crockett. People keep saying a Black man can’t win statewide in Louisiana but a Black man can win if we show up to vote for a Black man. Don’t lose momentum, now! We need to go vote in June and again in November and tell Jeff Landry and Julia Letlow and Liz Murrill that we don’t want their politics of hatred that put themselves over everyone else in this state and try to control and keep the rest of us down. We can start to put our state’s ugly past behind us. And let’s recall Jeff Landry and Liz Murrill while we’re at it. Sign those petitions!
