I’m not talking about:
• writing emails
• summarizing documents
• making images
• coding basic apps
• asking ChatGPT random questions
• rewriting your resume

I’m talking about the weird, creative, ridiculously useful stuff you’ve figured out with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, local models, agents, APIs, automations, or combinations of different AI tools.

What have you built into your life or work that made you think:
“Wait… why isn’t everybody doing this?”
Maybe you’re using AI to:
• run a personal “board of directors” that argues over your decisions
• analyze years of your own writing and identify patterns in how you think
• turn equipment manuals into an interactive troubleshooting assistant
• simulate customers before launching a business idea
• have multiple AI models critique each other before giving you the final answer
• build a searchable second brain from your own documents
• teach your kids using personalized lessons based on how they actually learn
• automate some ridiculously specific part of your job nobody else thought was worth automating
But I’m especially interested in the uses that sound crazy at first and genius once you explain them.

The challenge:
Tell us ONE thing you’re doing with AI that you think most people still haven’t discovered.
And don’t just say what you do.

   What’s your unfair AI use case?

I recently interviewed with ExxonMobil for a Lease Operator position in the Midland Basin, and I’m trying to get real numbers from people who actually work there.

Everybody says Exxon pays great and has great benefits, but nobody ever says what they actually make.

For current or recent lease operators, what does it really look like?

• Hourly rate?
• Typical weekly hours and OT?
• Annual bonus?
• Pension and 401(k)?
• Medical costs?
• Schedule?
• Approximate yearly total compensation?
• Biggest pros and cons?

I have 10+ years in oil and gas, but I also recently finished my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and picked up several technical certifications.

I currently have data center opportunities paying $62/hr, so I’m trying to figure out whether Exxon’s total package is strong enough to justify staying in oil and gas.
