Colonials: The First Thanksgiving (Unrated)
In this wildly inappropriate, no-holds-barred comedy, a group of clueless settlers arrive in the “New World” expecting glory, gold, and gourmet feasts… and instead find themselves completely unprepared for reality. After a disastrous first year, tensions, misunderstandings, and absurd cultural clashes spiral into chaos when they attempt to host what history will definitely remember as “the first Thanksgiving.”
Teaming up (and constantly butting heads) with a group of locals who are far more competent than them, the settlers stumble through language barriers, ego battles, and increasingly ridiculous party planning decisions. What starts as a hopeful diplomatic dinner quickly devolves into a drunken, gravy-soaked spectacle of bad decisions, questionable alliances, and one very stressed turkey caught in the middle.
As the night escalates into pure mayhem, both sides are forced to confront their own ignorance—though mostly they just make things worse.

Rating: 6.8/10
"Painfully dumb… but somehow hilarious."
If you go into Colonials expecting historical accuracy, you’re already missing the joke. This movie leans hard into absurdity, delivering a chaotic mix of slapstick, satire, and deliberately uncomfortable humor. It’s the kind of comedy that knows it’s crossing lines—and then sprints past them.
The cast commits fully to the bit, with standout performances from the overconfident but incompetent settlers and the straight-faced reactions of the locals stealing most scenes. The humor ranges from clever satire about cultural misunderstandings to completely unhinged party antics that feel like a medieval frat house gone wrong.
That said, it’s not for everyone. Some jokes land brilliantly, others feel like they’re trying a bit too hard to shock. But if you enjoy irreverent, boundary-pushing comedies that don’t take themselves seriously, there’s a lot to laugh at here.
Verdict: A messy, offensive, and oddly charming comedy feast—best enjoyed if you leave your expectations (and sensitivity) at the door.
