Been living in Bangkok for the past three years and I’m LOVING it, but as someone who loves cooking, it has always greatly frustrated me is how supermarkets operate here.
Why are their ops such a mess? Whether I’m cooking or baking, there is always an ingredient out of stock, completely discontinued, or I’m walking around in circles because they moved it 😂
- They frequently change the position of their products, sometimes in completely different aisles
- They often just remove a specific product from their catalog entirely. Just as you’ve found a great new product, it’s gone… forever….
- If you order online, or via rider apps, they literally always call you to let you know a specific product is not in stock, while it did show as available at the time of ordering
