Is Wilton on a Hiring Freeze?

Have had a few roles pending since April and May. Did the phone call screening and was told would hear back within 2 weeks. Still under consideration. I know there was the reshuffle of roles this summer but figured I’d ask about outside positions.

N2. Over the past few years I have become more self aware especially when it comes to when I sleep. Because of that, if I am dreaming, more often than not I am able mostly able to take control of the dream and kind of play around off script within the "scene". Sometimes when I do this it feels like my physical body is shaking. Maybe its sleep paralysis but it happens to me every now and again. I can tell the difference between what is real and what is not so I am pretty confident my actual body is shaking or doing something physical during this state. It just happened as of 20 minutes ago while I was watching a video where I dozed off.

The last I remember of the video was 22:00 mins in but when I woke up it was at 35:00 mins in so I can say that I must of falllen asleep for at least 13 minutes. The video was a podcast of people talking. The dream started with me going down a rollercoaster. When I am in these dreams I can feel my emotions, thoughts and I feel some senses. I felt the wind rushing over my shoulders. I don't know what caused it but something clicked and I thought to myself that I was dreaming. I wanted to put myself in a bit of a test to see how much I could do while being aware. To prove to myself, I sped the rollercoaster up which caused the cart to start jumping portions of the track. I started to feel a bit scared as the cart was jumping off the track but because I knew it wasn't real, I didn't let that scared feeling stop me. I figured that if I wanted to prove to myself that I could control the situation why not do the opposite of what I'd prefer and scare myself even more. I leaned in harder to that thought by putting a jump at the end of the track and speeding the car way up ultimately hitting the jump and flying through the air. It wasn't a bad dream type scare, but more of the feeling of knowing a situation is scary.

Next thing I knew I was standing inside like a McDonalds or any other fast food type place. I don't know why this location but it was just me standing at the counter. Maybe I knew that the ice cream machine wouldn't be broken. At this point I could hear my video playing in the background and was aware that I fell asleep with it on but was still in this dream state. As final proof to myself I leaned in harder to this control and acted in a embarrassing way because I knew I'd never do that in person. But at this point was when I really felt my physical body shaking and what felt like someone tugging me by the shoulder to stop what I was doing. It was a very weird feeling but one I've experienced before. I woke up to a weird headache/brain foggy feeling.

The whole experience lasted what I feel like was 2 minutes. Silly I know, but interesting nonetheless. It was as if the more I proved to myself that I was dreaming and could go "off script", the more my body would be shaking and the harder the tugging at my shoulder. I guess thats the sleep paralysis? I've been so tired all day so I'm surpised I'd make myself wake up from the nap but I guess I did. I apologize if this jumps around a bit, I definitely am feeling foggy which I don't get often. Just curious if others have similar experiences and awareness.
