Have you ever seen this Windows 11 error? “We couldn't update the system reserved partition.”

I recently tried upgrading to Windows 11 26H2 (Build 26300.8935) using the ISO, but I ran into this error during the upgrade:

“We couldn't update the system reserved partition.”

Has anyone else experienced this problem? How did you fix it? Did you resize the System Reserved/EFI partition, or did you use another method?

Anyone testing Windows 11 26H2? I tried installing it in VMware first

I've been testing Windows 11 26H2 and decided to try it in VMware Workstation first instead of installing it directly on my main PC. The VM setup worked pretty well for me, so I'm curious if anyone else here has been testing 26H2 in a virtual machine.

What has your experience been so far? Any issues with installation, updates, or performance?

Has anyone tried Windows 11 26h2 insider build yet? My experience so far.

I upgrade my Windows 11 to 26H2 build 26300.8697 on my secondary PC to see how it performs.

So far, its overall performance feels like slightly smoother compared to 25H2, especially when navigating File Explorer and switching between folders. But, I found no obvious UI overhaul so far, and most of the changes seem to be under-the-hood improvements.
Hopefully, the final release brings a more polished and genuinely impressive experience.
