I’m looking for a serious intermediate or advanced trading buddy / small group.

Lately I’ve realized that my biggest struggle probably isn’t the strategy anymore (or could be idk) it’s psychology, consistency, and maybe parts of my risk management. I’m still figuring that out honestly.

I feel like my strategy is actually pretty solid overall, but one issue I have is that I take way too few trades sometimes. I overthink, hesitate, or become too selective, and I think it affects my progress a lot.

I’m mainly trading NQ using ORB + order flow (still mastering it)/ price action concepts, I’ve already passed prop firm evaluations, got my first payouts with Lucid Trading

Long term, it could even become a small community of traders focused on improvement and discipline.

If that sounds interesting, send me a DM.

Any intermediate level trader in Enschede?

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to connect with people in Enschede who are into trading preferably intermediate traders who are actually serious about improving and sharing ideas/info.

I’d say I’m around intermediate level myself. I’ve already passed prop firm accounts and received payouts before, so I’m not completely new to this, but I still feel like having a small network of traders to talk with would be really valuable since not many people around me are into trading.

I’ll also be starting at Saxion University this September, so if anyone there is into trading too, that would be awesome.

If you’re down to connect, exchange ideas, talk markets, strategies, mindset, whatever feel free to reach out

Thoughts on my ORB trading strategy?

I've been trading with the ORB for a month now; I mainly do swing trading, but since I’m in college now, I prefer to have two strategies: the ORB and SR on higher timeframes. I’ve just been a bit unsure about which strategy is best to use; I still need to backtest them, but checking the higher timeframes—mainly the 4-hour and 1-hour charts—has really helped me determine the direction of my ORB, and along with that, I created a Pinescript to measure the breakout distance with a filter and another filter to measure the wick. That way, I enter instantly if the wick filter is at least at 70% and there’s a considerable breakout distance—which I’ve set up with those parameters. What I’m still a bit unsure about is that I place my stop loss in the opposite range to give my trades some breathing room, but even so, I think it’s a bit too large, especially for prop firms. On average, the loss can be $300, which I don’t think is too bad, but it depends a lot on the candle—some ended up being quite a bit more. I also close my trades as soon as the NY session ends, and I’m really confused about what RR I should use: 1:1, 1:1.5, or 1:2.

P.S. any feedback would be great!!!
