Explanation of the Starlight type: The Starlight type is something I'm still working on, but that's the idea; it's a third type that only appears in Pokémon that have an extremely strong bond with their trainer, a bond that almost makes it seem like the trainer and their Pokémon think as one being in order to overcome difficulties and challenges that would have been impossible before. In battles, the Starlight type, when activated, grants the Pokémon a new form which allows it to adapt to the opponent's attacks equal to the number of defeated Pokémon on the team, essentially carrying their fighting spirit to stay alive. However, when used when there are no defeated Pokémon on the team, the Starlight Pokémon gradually weakens to the point where it can be defeated with just one ineffective attack.

Origin: The Starlight type is born from the remnants of the soul of an ancient Pokémon called Suryalun. It is said that this Pokémon lived in a different reality where it represented the balance between light and darkness in its dimension, but mysteriously it disappeared and its universe fell into ruin. Parts of its being were scattered across various realities, but few Pokémon and humans have had contact with it. All that is known about these remnants of Suryalun is that they are an energy so pure that it can both cause injuries and connect humans and Pokémon in a unique way, but it can also create rifts in reality that lead to other unknown worlds.

Suryalun is a Pokémon that I'm still writing and improving, but it has a huge importance in the lore of this Gardevoir and my OC, so much so that the plot revolves around understanding what Suryalun was and what caused it to "die". Any opinion or suggestion is very welcome, both regarding Gardevoir and the story I'm creating. If you have any drawing ideas for me to do of Starlight Gardevoir, feel free to share them! :)
