Job Paystub question

Hello Everyone,

So, I am working as a QA engineer at a company based in montreal and its a remote position. i have a matched NOC code as well.

Actually my company calendar has dates showing the pay periods and the pay date and the company has a automated accounting system. My Biweekly paycheque has dates that have a period of 12 days only, like 13/07 to 24/07 is the 2 weeks and then next period starts from 27/07 which is the next monday. Manager says that they dont count the Saturday and Sunday coz office isnt open those days and 1 weekend (Saturday and Sunday gets included coz they cant mention 4 different dates on a paystub)

I wanna know will these paystubs be eligible when i apply for express entry since IRCC needs 30 hours a week , i am planning to apply under the french category.

I am billed for 60 hours on a paycheque which is biweekly as said by the company and mentioned in the paystubs.

Best Way to approach french Speaking?

Hello Learners,
I am learning french since the beginning of this year and i am currently transitioning from A2 to B1. I have been on and off since the start but since this last month or so i am practicing for around 5-6 days a week and i can definitely see progress in my reading and writing.

Today i am here to ask for suggestions on how i can improve on speaking and listening (apart from the consistency part). i have been good at listening sometimes but the speaking is just way below average IMO.

The problem i face in speaking is that i cant gather the words without having to translate them from English to French which in turn kills fluency and eventually confidence. I live in a non French province in Canada so speaking to natives isnt an option without having to spend on Preply etc.

So yeah, main concern is speaking then listening... Reading and Writing are going good for me so far..

Thanks

So i interviewed at this company in calgary for a QA position. My first interview was march 24th and i just gave my culture fit on 14th April.
They gave the result of my culture fit on 21st and they asked for professional references. I gave it to them the next day (22 April) and they still havent done anything.
I was so anxious till today (30th April) but the HR sent me an email today saying we are in process of reviewing and we will update to ASAP.

Its my first job after a non interviewed internship so im not sure if this is the usual time frame for these companies. Anyways im still anxious on the result.

Any opinions?
