Screenprinting my designs on upcycled clothing

Some of my first designs. I've been screenprinting by hand in my lil studio on garments that I rescue from goodwill bins or freepiles. 😊

I post em on my depop if you wanna see more, just search kizzalilitu

I rescue clothing from the bins and make funny shirts out of them

I screenprint my wing nut designs onto shirts from freepiles or goodwill bins 🤘 fun way to recycle clothing that would otherwise be making its way to a landfill.

Learned how to screenprint and designed + printed these shirts!

Ok, resubmiting this post because last time I didn't put enough info!

So I learned how to screenprint at a local community print shop to make some merch for my puppet crew and was so satisfied by the process that I decided to come up with a design and print them on my own time! I'm so stoked with how these came out 😊

I learned the hard way that higher mesh count is needed for details this fine. Since I printed these I ended up getting a super super cheap set up secondhand so now I can print in my own workshop 🙌 Thanks for looking ☺

Green cotton!

I was gifted a bag full of green cotton aparently grown by a collective who sell their green cotton seeds to southern exposure. Great opportunity for me to practice spinning with cotton, which I had not gotten the hang of until now! After hand carding it i spun it long draw on my antique wheel.
