Mr. Acty had already given me a couple of taparoos to get past me in the previous corner, which I was entirely prepared to forgive (cross country is basically glorified bumper cars half the time.)

Unfortunately for Mr. Acty, however, he forgot that his kerb weight is nearly half of my Transit, and I took his attempt to ram me out of a checkpoint to stop me from overtaking him again as an open declaration of war.

Childish? Probably.
Justified? I think so.
Funny? Definitely.

I can only imagine he was seething over me outpacing his "meta" cookie cutter M1 tune so he decided to just push me out of the race instead.
