Hey everyone, I recently gave my HSC boards (result not out yet, expecting ~75%) and I’m planning to study in Germany for my bachelor’s. I’m most likely going through Studienkolleg, so I’m confused about what I should focus on right now, German, IELTS, or the Aufnahmeprüfung. From what I understand, German seems most important, while the entrance exam is also important. IELTS feels more like a backup since I’m aiming for public universities.
Also confused about timelines, when should I start applying and how long everything takes. From what I’ve seen: APS can take around 1–2 months, university applications another few weeks, and visa around 1–2 months. So overall it looks like a 3–6 month process. Willing to go ASAP
Would appreciate advice on what I should prioritize right now and if my understanding is correct. Thanks!
