I've just picked up this i5-13500 with 32gb ram and plan to use it for pretty standard office/browsing, no gaming or putting another graphics card in it.

Even idling the fan and shroud make a terrible rattling noise. Really grating.

Can I just put a quiet Fan like a nocturna on top of the existing dell heat sink? Is it 80mm?

Will I need longer screws to go through both the fan and heat sink? If so, what size?

And will I need an adaptor cable for the fan connection to the motherboard. For pwm control?

Alternatively, is there a new heat sink/silent fan combo?

I did a search but most in here seem obsessed with sticking graphics cards in whilst I just want a silent/quiet Fan. 🤣

I have chatgpt Plus plans

I can create new chats in chatgpt within Chrome no problem

I have trouble retrieving old chats within Chrome. I sometimes get messages about too many requests, just a blank page or unable to load a conversation.

I have tried the windows app. I have tried Edge browser. i have tried incognito windows.
I have tried browsers on both my Windows PC and my Mac.

All the same outcome, can create new chats. very rarely able to retrieve old conversations.

Chatgpt is becoming unusable for me.

I have tried clearing all cookies and site data for chatgpt.com and open.ai

I have disabled ad blockers.

this has been going on for weeks now. it's painful.

it's not like i use chatgpt that much. just chats about text documents and things. no coding or anything.

I can't even contact the support chat as the chat bubble disappears and i get "Uh oh. Something went wrong" as soon as I accept or reject cookies.

But bizarrely, the chatgpt app on my iPhone works everytime and I can retrieve any old chat I want.

i've even resorted to starting conversations on the app, copy/pasting to my mac using continuity. it's ridiculous.

maybe claude is the answer? But almost a year of history and conversations.... and I do like the YouTube thumbnails that ChatGPT creates for me.

Anyone else having all these problems?
