Do you want my eclipse day bus tickets?

Do you want my eclipse day bus tickets?

I have two tickets for an Icelandia bus tour on eclipse day August 12. I am unable to go and want to find someone who wants them at a BIG discount.

Leaves Reykjavik BSI bus station at 9 AM on August 12, they are going to pick the best viewing spot on the day based on weather to find clear skies.

Itinerary comments?

My itinerary is constrained by fixed reservations and I want help considering the extra driving those reservations might force me into. (And confidently make some more reservations for popular spots).

We have a cottage near Reykjavik for August 6,7,8, and camping after that. Reservation for Reykjavik Eco village CG Aug11 and we have booked a boat for the day of the eclipse.

My question is about the four days leading up to the eclipse.

After thinking about this a lot, I think we should do the Snæfellsnes Peninsula as a day trip (Aug 8) starting and ending near Reykjavík which I recognize will be a lot of driving, but we are ok with it, plus don’t have to set up the tent and cook dinner at the end. Plenty of restaurants.

Then we have three days on our own camping & cooking during which time we will do the golden circle, including Kerligarfjoll 8-9 mile hike (we are doing a high Sierra 12 day backpack in July mostly above 11,000 ft, mountaineering through high passes so we are very fit hikers), giving us 2 full days seeing hi lights of Thingvellir np & golden circle (9 & 11, with the 10th to be mostly hiking in kerlingarfjoll)

I heard going ccw might avoid some tour bus traffic, so tentatively:
Aug 9 Hveragerdi, Kerid, Gamla, maybe Stokkur geyser, Gulfoss, Kerligarfjoll camp
Aug 10 hiking loop in highlands, drive back to camp at Faxi
Aug 11 Laugarvatn thermal sand bread, cave hike, Silfra fissure, oxarfoss, Thingvellir national park visitor center, back to Reykjavik.

If this is too aggressive on the 8th and relaxed on the later loop we could instead do some of the western golden circle stuff on the 8th and rather than stay at Faxi the 10th go to one of the CGs near Hvammsvik and tour around Snæfellsnes on the 11th, saves a little driving? Basically swapping 8&11 Aug above. But Faxi seems so pretty, I don’t think it’s worth it to camp in a less attractive place in exchange for 1-2 less hours driving (but Stóri-Lambhagi 4 looks really nice, maybe better!) can we do a 6 hour hike and still drive 3.5 hours from Kerlingarfjoll to there? I think so. We also don’t want to miss the bread at Laugarvatn, what’s the best time to get there?

After the eclipse, we will drive about an hour out of Reykjavík to camp (will we have problems if the boat docks late and we pull into Stokkseyri cg after midnight? We are VERY QUIET and have plenty experience setting up our tent in the dark, Buying the camping card) to start our tour of the Ring Road, which we have a full week to do and I intend to include Landmannalaugar and the Westfjords in that going counterclockwise.

My thinking is two nights before our departure date we can stay near Latrabjarg or a campground farther south of it, drive back toward KEF airport to camp out the night before our plane leaves, or find a last minute hotel if it’s pouring rain.
I’m not as concerned with my ring rd itinerary, just the first few days.
