Just Cause 4.5 Chaos Reborn Test 01

Just Cause 4.5 Chaos Reborn Test 01

JUST CAUSE 4.5: CHAOS REBORN

Rico Rodriguez returns to Solís expecting to finish what he started.

But something is wrong.

The Black Hand is everywhere.

Their soldiers patrol civilian streets. Their agents move through the cities disguised in ordinary vehicles. Civilians who once lived peacefully are now carrying weapons for Oscar's regime.

And breaking the law is no longer a warning.

Climb onto the wrong vehicle.

Enter the wrong area.

Commit the smallest infraction.

The Black Hand comes for you.

Solís has become a military state.

But this isn't the Solís Rico remembers.

Oscar Espinosa has discovered technology capable of turning back the hands of time.

And he has used it to rewrite history.

The timeline has been altered.

Former rebels have become Black Hand soldiers. Civilians have been recruited into Oscar's forces. Elite troops, snipers, agents and heavily armed patrols now operate throughout the island.

Oscar didn't simply build a bigger army.

He changed the past to make sure the rebellion would never have the strength to defeat him.

Rico soon realises that he has another problem.

Even if he survives, he cannot be everywhere.

And if Rico dies, the rebellion could die with him.

The resistance needs something that cannot be killed.

It needs a face.

It needs a symbol.

It needs Sargento.

But there is a problem.

What happens if Sargento dies?

What happens if Rico dies?

What happens if Oscar manages to destroy every leader of the rebellion?

That's when the resistance makes a desperate call.

Captain OJM and the modding community are brought into the war.

Captain OJM develops an experimental holographic system capable of projecting the image of Sargento across Solís.

But there is a secret.

The hologram isn't actually Sargento.

It is Rico.

Rico can now appear as Sargento anywhere in Solís.

The real Sargento can disappear.

Sargento can be captured.

Sargento can even die.

It doesn't matter.

The people will still see him.

Because Sargento is no longer just a man.

He is the face of the rebellion.

And Captain OJM isn't finished.

Oscar has created an army unlike anything Solís has ever seen.

So Captain OJM creates one of his own.

An army so large, so aggressive and so relentless that even Rico begins to wonder whether bringing it into existence was a mistake.

When Oscar discovers what OJM has done, he makes a personal threat:

If Captain OJM doesn't stop interfering with his plans, Oscar will uninstall every video game from his PC.

That was the one threat Captain OJM could not ignore.

So he did what any reasonable man would do.

He made Oscar's army even worse.

Now Solís has become a warzone.

Black Hand soldiers flood the streets.

Agents commandeer civilian vehicles.

Snipers watch from rooftops.

Elite soldiers hunt anyone who challenges the regime.

The smallest act of defiance can trigger a military response.

And behind it all stands Oscar — believing that he has finally rewritten history in his favor.

But Oscar made one mistake.

He thought rewriting the past would eliminate chaos.

Instead...

it created something far worse.

A rebellion with no single point of failure.

An army that never stops coming.

A hero who can appear anywhere.

And a world where Rico Rodriguez no longer has to fight alone.

Oscar rewrote the past to create an unstoppable army.

Captain OJM and the modding community rewrote the battlefield to create an unstoppable war.

And Rico?

Rico is about to bring the chaos.

This is no longer the Solís you remember.

This is a new timeline.

A new war.

A new rebellion.

A new level of chaos.

Can I Save an Entity Spawner Edit?

Can I Save an Entity Spawner Edit?

I used the Entity Spawner to edit Rico’s appearance/presentation. Is there a way to save the changes so that they automatically remain after I restart the game?

I don’t want to have to spawn and edit Rico again every time I launch the game.

Any help would be appreciated!

Is it legal to include popular copyrighted music in a free, non-commercial Just Cause 4 mod?

Is using popular music in a Just Cause 4 mod illegal if it’s not commercialized?

I’m working on a Just Cause 4 music mod where I replace some of the in-game music with popular songs.

If I distribute the mod for free and I’m NOT selling it, monetizing it, or making any money from the music, would using those copyrighted songs still be illegal?

Or does the fact that it’s completely non-commercial make a difference?

I’d like to hear what you guys think, especially from people familiar with game modding and copyright law.

WE DID IT! We Replaced Many JC4 Songs With a JC3 Combat Remix — But How Do We Distribute the Mod?

WE DID IT, GUYS!

We managed to replace many of Just Cause 4's songs with a remix of a Just Cause 3 combat track, and it actually works!

The problem is that the resulting mod file is HUGE — almost 2 GB.

We can drop the file directly into the game's dropzone folder and it works perfectly, but now we're wondering how we can package and distribute it as a proper mod so other people can easily install it.

As far as we know, some mod websites have file-size limits and may not allow files larger than 1 GB, but we're not completely sure about that.

Is there a better way to package this mod, compress the files, or distribute a 2 GB mod?

If anyone here has experience with JC4 mod distribution or handling large mod files, we'd really appreciate some advice.

Looking for JC4 modding tools for custom combat music and stronger enemy robots

I’ve spent around 48 hours trying to edit the music files in Just Cause 4 because I want to replace some of the combat/action music with tracks that have a similar feel to the action music from Just Cause 3.

Unfortunately, despite spending a lot of time editing and replacing the files, I haven’t been able to get my changes to actually take effect in-game. I’m not sure if I’m using the wrong tools, editing the wrong files, or if the music is handled differently than I expected.

I also want to take the mod further by making combat more challenging. Ideally, I would like to be able to spawn the enemy robots during gameplay and make them significantly harder to destroy — for example, giving them roughly 2× their normal durability/health.

So I’m looking for advice from experienced Just Cause 4 modders:

  • What are the best tools for editing/replacing JC4 music?
  • Is there a specific method for modifying the game's FMOD audio files?
  • What tools can be used to spawn specific enemies or robots?
  • Is it possible to increase the health/durability of those robots?
  • Are there existing tools, scripts, or mods that I should study to learn how to do this?

I’m not trying to make a simple reskin or cosmetic mod. I’m experimenting with creating a more intense combat-focused version of Just Cause 4, with better action music and significantly tougher enemies.

Any guidance on the correct tools, file formats, or modding workflow would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for JC4 Modding Tools/Experts — Can We Turn JC4 Into a “Just Cause 5”?

Honestly, the recent mod by No_Manufacturer aka Seli for the Bavarium/Skystriker wingsuit gave me a lot of hope for what we could potentially do with Just Cause 4.

Luke, the Godfather of Just Cause modding, has already done an incredible job with the Just Cause Unlimited Edition. But when you combine that with Seli's Skystriker mod, the experience becomes even better. It really got me thinking: what if we pushed this much further and essentially created our own "Just Cause 5" experience inside JC4?

There are several things I think we could improve, and I want to start by figuring out what is actually possible with the current modding tools.

1. MUSIC — Can we replace JC4's music?

This is probably one of the biggest things I would like to change.

Personally, I think the music in JC4 is a piece of ... well, let's just say it isn't JC3's soundtrack .

I've actually already recreated/covered some of the Just Cause 3 music, and I think some of my versions could work extremely well in JC4. If we can figure out how to replace specific music tracks in JC4, I'd love to contribute those tracks to the project.

So my first question is:

Is there currently a modding tool, unpacker, editor, or any other method that allows us to identify and replace the music/audio files used by Just Cause 4?

If someone knows how the JC4 audio system works or has experience replacing its music, I'd really appreciate some guidance.

2. Make JC4 MUCH more dangerous

Once we figure out the music, I'd like to move toward gameplay.

One of my ideas is to make JC4 considerably more challenging by changing how enemies behave and spawn.

Imagine being in the middle of a mission and suddenly having groups of Black Hand soldiers and Agents spawning and hunting Rico, instead of the usual relatively predictable encounters.

And I'm not talking about making them slightly stronger.

I mean:

More enemies.
More aggressive enemies.
More powerful weapons.
More coordinated attacks.
More pressure on Rico.

The idea would be that, when in heat mode, Rico can't just stand around shooting everyone. He would have to move — and move FAST — using the wingsuit, grapple, parachute and whatever else he has available to survive.

Basically, I want to push JC4 toward a much more chaotic, intense and challenging experience.

And I have a lot more ideas for this.

I'm not necessarily looking for someone to make the entire mod for me. I'm mainly looking for people who understand JC4's modding framework and can point me toward the right tools, file formats, methods and techniques.

If we can figure out how to modify these systems, I'd love to experiment and see how far we can take it.

So, JC4 modders:

  • What tools are currently available for modifying JC4?
  • Can the game's music be replaced?
  • Can individual music tracks be identified and swapped?
  • How much control do we have over enemy spawning?
  • Can enemy groups be spawned dynamically during missions?
  • Can enemy AI/weapons be modified?
  • What other systems do you think we could change?

Let's see if we can turn Just Cause 4 into something that feels like a completely new game.

And if you have ideas for what should be included in our hypothetical "Just Cause 5", drop them below.

Ultimate edition : Is there a long rangr grapple hook that is compatible with it

I like the hard work thst Luke Jc had put in thr ultimate editon but to be honest the only challenge i have with thr ultimate edition is that every time i tried to install ang long range grapple hook with fast reals it does not wofk. But that lobg range grapole hook like the one named 2 5x grapple hook has been very fun and it enables to me outsmart enemies in a cool way and move very fast. Sometimes in the middle of a combat i land behind enemies who were shooting at me and they ard lost bcos of how far i have moved. Does anybody know any long range grappling hook compatible with it that does not kill rico like the 2.5x grappling. The only one i hsve foind so far compatible with it kills rico wheb he grapples from a certain distance
