Maria Guiffrida attempted to murder her ex and his new lover when she broke into their Berlin, MD home and stabbed the couple with a knife. The woman escaped after Maria stabbed her in the leg, while Giuffrida's estranged husband suffered more serious wounds and had to be airlifted to the Shock Trauma hospital in Baltimore.
Guiffrida is being held without bail and has been charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Attempted Second Degree Murder and Assault.
