1st Time Overall 755 Yay

Just finished my GMAT FE test at a test center last hour, and got an unexpected surprise on the unofficial scores result

Q90/V87/D85
Overall: 755

Background: I’m a senior undergraduate student (Aged 21) at a triple-crown business school in Asia, majoring in Accountancy. I have a plan of pursuing PhD in Accounting in the near future, so I started prep my GMAT FE. My first mock was actually during the start of my junior year, and I got a 695 with 88/81/84 QVD, which was actually pretty high (but I didn’t know back then) but I never continued from there until the summer break of my senior year.

My expectations was actually around 725, so this is a big surprise. I have never cracked 755 in any of the mock tests (But never go below 705 except for the first time), and I thought it wasn’t possible, but here it is.

My strategy is an unconventional one, but I prefer the order of V Q D. This consumes my attention span first, then my strength(never gotten below Q89 in mocks), and then get a rest, and do D which is my toughest challenge(actually I got better V than D sometimes and vice versa, so both are equally challenging). To be honest, during the test, I was frustrated as hell, which makes me have no time to even recheck my answers, but I still got there in the end.

Oh, I prepared everything by myself: no tutoring , no consulting. Just me and me, so it’s possible to clear the hurdles by yourself.

Feel free to ask any questions, I am going to celebrate rn lol.
