Do you think medical technology will eventually be developed to enable the self-regeneration of one's original skin based on DNA? Or is physical restoration the right answer? I started at a CI level of 0–1 and have now reached close to CI-3, having practiced physical restoration intermittently for nearly ten years. One concern I have regarding physical restoration is that the number of nerves is finite; I worry that if only the number of cells increases, sensation in the outer skin might become dull. What are your experiences and opinions on this?
