My kiddo loved the Wizard of Oz but she’s very young so pictures are required- she can handle about two pages of text before she starts flipping the book to pictures of an animal. Charles Santore’s illustrated version was perfect she loved it. We’ve moved on to an illustrated version of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland- so far so good. The length of these and reading level and illustrations seem to be working nicely, what are some other illustrated works you can recommend?
