Undiagnosable Airbag Error - Skoda Kodiaq
Hello all,
Recently our 2024 Skoda Kodiaq started showing Error Airbag in the console out of nowhere. The car barely has 20k kms done. We thought it was just a random glitch so took it to the service center to clear it . But to our surprise it wasn’t going away. The service center told they had to do further checks so we left it at the service center. But even after running several checks and scans they couldn’t diagnose what’s causing that error. After 2 weeks of getting nowhere they handed the case to the Europe technical team. They connected remotely and diagnosed the issue to be this airbag harness which sends signals from the seat belt to airbag to actually it. There’s no rat bite, water damage, no physical damage whatsoever. How can such critical wire stop working without any intervention? Does anyone face any similar issues?
Thankfully the car is still under warranty and the skoda team is responding very quickly to all of this. But this questions the car’s reliability. Please tell me your thoughts.
