Does anyone here live (or has anyone lived) in Murano Street Student Village?
I’m an exchange student and I’ll be living there from September. I’d love to hear about your experience! Do you have any advice, tips, or things you wish you had known before moving in?😃

Hi everyone!

I'm a Taiwanese student currently studying at a university in Japan, and I'll be coming to the University of Glasgow as an exchange student this September.

I'm really excited, but I also have a few questions about life in Glasgow.

• What's the city like overall? (People, atmosphere, safety, etc.)
• How's the weather really? Is it as rainy as everyone says?
• What's student life at the University of Glasgow like? Is it easy to make friends?
• Has anyone here been an exchange student at UofG? I'd love to hear about your experience!
• I'll most likely be staying at Murano Street Student Village. If you've lived there, what was it like? Any tips or things I should know?

I'll only be there for one semester, so I really want to make the most of my time in Glasgow. I'd also love recommendations for places to visit, food to try, or anything you think I shouldn't miss.
