Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan felt like a lazy showcase of the same recycled Salman persona, and Sikandar only made things worse. The film was dragged down by bland writing, forgettable action, and a performance that felt almost completely devoid of energy. Instead of carrying the film, Salman often looked like he was barely interested in being in it. His cameos in Baby John, Singham Again were even more atrocious. At this stage his Bhai image seems to be doing the acting for him.

For Akshay Kumar Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarfira, and Khel Khel Mein all failed theatrically, while films like Housefull 5 and Jolly LLB 3 did little to change the perception that he’s been churning out uninspired work. The sheer volume of releases means little when the performances feel increasingly mechanical.
