Very new to this stuff. Trying to use the search function though it's nearly useless as the prefixes on most links are all that shows up with the rest of the name being cut off. I have a 4:3 monitor and the application window is already too wide for it, so I can't make the window any wider. Is there any easy way to improve the viewing experience?
Saw PHM recently. I absolutely adore it. Ive been lurking on this subreddit for some bit since. Noticed everyone here in this community is very quite smart and in the weeds with the science of PHM. Ive been working on a long time writing project of mine, centering on an alien species interacting with earth. Though, I’m very not quite intelligent and have many assorted theoretical biology questions as I’d like to try and stay believable but lack the expertise. Anyone here know of any good communities to ask in that have similar sort of strengths and are open to discussing fiction stuff. I wouldn’t want to intrude in on a space like this subreddit with off topic, topics just because the talent is present.

Coming just barely above the Time Go Fishing and the Erratic Maneuver Detected sequences. Grace opening the Blip-B and purely on instinct going to take a big whiff of whatever’s inside before any sense of intelligent self preservation can kick in. Not the best moment in quality, but my favorite.
Ive been in the know about OW for some time, sadly learned the story before ever playing. Though I’ve been considering getting the game and still playing myself. Though I’d love to play it on one of my lower end computers. Steam’s minimums are a well no-go. Wondering if theres anyone here who has themselves managed to get OW in a playable state on lesser hardware, special interest in running it under linux. Ideally it could be workable on a Pentium D 950 (3.4Ghz), an Rx460, and 4gb Ddr2. It’s a bit of a ridiculous ask, though sometimes games like this are lighter than they look under the hood.
