How much to feed my 3 week old?
Both my partner and I are first time parents and are struggling a bit right now.
My son is a day short of 3 weeks old. He eats similac advanxed formula and has been exclusively formula fed. Originally he was doing well on 3oz every 2.5-3 hours. Which is what his pediatrician encouraged us to do. Yesterday and last night have changed that story to where he was fussing/crying almost every hour for food. I know I've read that he's too young for a set schedule and I've also seen to let him eat if he's hungry but my partner and I both worry about over feeding him/throwing off what lil schedule he did have.
I guess I'm partially asking if he's okay to eat 4oz if that's what he wants/ if I'm doung something wrong by trying to place him on a schedule this young?
