I also posted this on the Artix forums, but I'll post it here as well.

I have tried a variety of ways to set up my dbus session bus, but it always falls back to /tmp instead of creating it in my XDG_RUNTIME_DIR.

I'm trying to keep my system lean so I'm using runit, xlibre, seatd, and bspwm/sxhkd. I'm using pam_rundir to create my XDG_RUNTIME_DIR. 'echo $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR' shows that it does work.

I would like for dbus to be in my XDG_RUNTIME_DIR just for ease of use when running scripts as root.
